Awarding Winner Teachers

Our teaching staff comprises of a team of dedicated and passionate ex-MOE award winning teachers with years of invaluable experience in teaching Chinese language in Singapore. Our teachers are native speakers with degrees and have been registered with the Ministry of Education (MOE) in Singapore. We have always been very stringent in the selection process as we believed that our teachers are not just here to deliver a lesson. Our teachers are specially selected for their passion in teaching and this passion drives our teachers to help every individual child the best they can. We give year-round trainings to upgrade our teachers and familiarise them with the latest MOE syllabus and curriculum.

The LEAP Award which stands for “Listening Educator for Advancement and Progress Award”, was launched by the late S R Nathan in 2011 and is awarded by Singapore Hokkien Huay Kuan (SHHK) annually to recognise exceptional teachers who have made a positive impact in nurturing their students from the heart. The name of the award signifies a leap of faith for a teacher to believe that students have the potential to excel beyond their capabilities.

Winner of the Caring Teacher Award 2014

The Caring Teacher Award is a biennial event that pays tribute to teachers who show care and concern for the holistic development of their students, and go the extra mile to ensure their charges grow up to be confident and independent learners.
Started in 1996, the Caring Teacher Awards is organised by the National Institute of Education, Singapore in partnership with ExxonMobil Asia Pacific Pte Ltd and with support of the Ministry of Education.
